How it works
Three steps, in this order
Put a QR code on each table
We send the codes. You stick them down. It takes an afternoon and no one has to come out to you.
A customer scans, picks a song, pays on their phone
It opens a web page. No app to download, no account to create. They pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay in a couple of taps.
It plays through your speakers
A cheap Android tablet behind the bar drives your existing sound system. You take a cut of every play.
What the venue keeps
You keep half of everything over £100 a month
That £100 is measured per calendar month and counted after VAT and card processing costs come out. Below it you keep nothing, and we would rather say so here than in the small print.
- Less VAT at 20%
- −£66
- Less card processing
- −£22
- Less the first £100
- −£100
- You keep
- £106
The first £100 after costs stays with us; everything above it is split down the middle.
Illustration only. Figures are worked from the terms above, not from trading data. Card processing is 1.5% + 20p a payment; this assumes customers top up £5 at a time.
Paid monthly, within 14 days of month end
Straight to your bank account. No minimum payout — if anything is due, it is paid.
No hardware cost, no rental, no subscription
You supply an Android tablet and the speakers you already own. Nothing else.
No minimum term after the first twelve months
Then thirty days’ notice, whenever you like.
Customers pay £1 a song, or £2 to jump the queue.
Control
It is still your room
Everything here is set from your dashboard, on the tablet behind the bar or your own phone, without ringing anyone.
Skip anything, instantly
One tap kills the track. The customer is refunded automatically — you do not have to have that conversation.
Block tracks and artists
Permanently. Once something is on the list it never comes back up.
Explicit lyrics, off or after a set time
Off entirely, or allowed only after a time you choose. Nine o’clock by default.
Limits on the queue
How many songs one person can hold at a time (three by default), how soon a song can repeat, and how long the queue is allowed to get.
Licensing
You almost certainly already have the licence
To play music on your premises at all you need TheMusicLicence from PPL PRS. If you have a radio on, or a jukebox now, you hold it.
That is the only licence you need for JukeLoop. The separate licences covering the copying and delivery of the recordings are ours to hold, not yours.
If you do not hold TheMusicLicence, we will tell you before you sign anything.

The catch, in advance
Put it in your pub
